Today I had a meeting and was actually quite impressed by our new consultant's work to aligned a whole department to a direction. I'm grateful for that.

Today had two lectures and they were quite fun ones so I'm glad I'm still having fun giving lectures despite mostly feeling burnt out.
Cass' computer had problems and once again I'm grateful that the PC shop is nearby and they immediately came over to deal with it.
Spent some time with Xin and Cass today for dinner and wow the kaisendon place near us actually has legit good fish!! I'm so grateful!

Went out to Singapore Art Gallery to look at some Monet pieces. Learnt and talked a lot about impressionist artists, but while Monet is great, I really liked Camille Pissarro for his delve into charcoal pieces and Eugene Boudin for his more structured and beautiful beach paintings (the way he draw sails is amazing). I'm grateful I could talk so much about the paintings with Cass.
